Freihat: Announcement of the Main Results of the Population Census in Jordan in Early 2027

Al-Taj News – The Director General of the Department of Statistics, Haidar Freihat, revealed that the main results of the General Census of Population and Housing in Jordan will be announced during the first quarter of 2027, pointing out the continuation of data collection operations during the coming November to complete counting activities, provided that they are closed by early December 2026.

Freihat said, today, Saturday, that the scheduled date for the conclusion of field counting is October 31 of this month, but the completion of operations may take an additional two or perhaps three weeks, confirming that census teams will not close any counting area before ensuring the inclusion of all homes and households in it.
